Howdy speedgolf family!

You’re reading This Week in Speedgolf. What a time to be alive.

Here’s what’s happening in speedgolf this week.

Do you dare attempt the 2027 European Speedgolf Open?

Elevation comparison for four speedgolf courses, including Five Nations Golf Club

Speedgolf Belgium, led by Filip “SpeedStache” Beerens, is hosting the 2027 **European Speedgolf Open **at Five Nations Golf Club. According to the handy infographic supplied by SpeedStache, this is the most challenging run the speedgolf world has ever seen. More climbing than you’ll see at Golf International de Roissy, or the 700 Club, or even the infamous GlenOaks Country Club in Kentucky.

Veterans of the US scene have told me that Cascata in Las Vegas is the toughest run they’ve ever attempted. A 15-minute mapping session on SpeedScore could vindicate that story.

If you, dear reader, have the inside scoop on fields and storylines at these iconic events coming up next weekend, please send them along. My dream would be to publish guest columns from those with front-row seats to the preparations.

Continuing call for cases: the Speedgolf Supreme Court will be in session soon

Do you have a complaint, a grievance, an issue where you feel you may have been wronged in speedgolf?

If that’s you, submit your case to the Speedgolf Supreme Court by replying to this message.

Rules disputes are welcome, but so are questions of etiquette, sportsmanship, tournament administration, and the spirit of the game.

Cases may be petty. They may be consequential. They may involve events that happened six years ago and that you are, quite reasonably, still mad about.

We will convene a panel of distinguished speedgolf justices to discuss the cases live on the Speedgolf Baby Audio Experience and issue a ruling.

To submit a case, just reply to this email or message me on Instagram.

Thanks to everyone who is supporting my trip to the Speedgolf World Championships in November. We are 70% of the way to our goal.

If you want to put a little wind in my sails, buy me a coffee on Ko-Fi and help me get to New Zealand, where I’ll be publishing daily.

Upcoming speedgolf

Find your next tournament or meetup on Speedgolf Directory. Here’s what I’m looking forward to.
