» A record fit for OnlyFans: Kyle Cokinos aims for 900 holes in 24 hours

“I’m a sneaky good golfer”, reports Kyle Cokinos. But more important, he’s an Ironman with multiple 100 mile races under his belt.

Starting at 6pm on June 23, the endurance athlete and fitness influencer will attempt to play 900 holes of golf in 24 hours, all on foot. The current Guinness World Record, held by former Major League Baseball player Eric Byrnes, is 420 holes. Cokinos plans to more than double it. If he hits his target of 100 nine hole rounds, he will run 110 miles in the process.

Every hole will raise money for Camp Aranzazu, a nonprofit that provides outdoor experiences for kids with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The Guinness World Record attempt will be tracked live on Instagram @kidcoki and through sponsors like Protekt Hydration.

In an age where spectacle rules, Cokinos is bringing eyeballs to speedgolf the hard way.

» Hyvinkää Eats Golf Balls, Spits Out World Champs - Results Roundup

Hyvinkää Morning Speedgolf | Hyvinkää, FIN | Jun 17

🥇 Ville Heinonen (FIN) | 81 in 48:55 | 129.55 🥈 Pertti Palosuo (FIN) | 83 in 54:07 | 137.07 🥉 Lauri Alakuijala (FIN) | 85 in 56:20 | 141.20

Hyvinkää’s hilly, ball-hungry layout humbled even the best. Milla Hallanoro (2022 Women’s World Champion), Timo Eskeli (2022 Senior World Champion), and Henrik Honkalehto (2022 World Cup Bronze Medalist) all DNF’d after running out of golf balls. A brutal reminder: no one is safe from Hyvinkää’s teeth.

A bright spot: Hyvinkää club pro Janne Linnermo shot a 73 (+1) in 68:22, missing out on Bronze by just 2 seconds. He was the only player to break 80. According to Pertti Palosuo, Linnermo shot 76 last summer with just a 6 iron. Somebody get this guy a running plan!

Pertti also reports: “Hyvinkää golf is a forerunner in Speedgolf. Throughout the summer, every Wednesday, they have dedicated Speedgolf tee times where they play in groups of 3 with a season-long eclectic ranking.”

Luke Willett Thumbs his nose at 14 club rule as he prepares for Open qualifying

Luke Willett will take on The Open regional qualifier at Moor Park with just four clubs: 3-wood, 6-iron, pitching wedge, and putter. The par 72, 6,857-yard course (slope 141) is a tough test for any golfer, even with a full bag. But Luke isn’t afraid. When he’s playing slow golf with limited club selection, he says he just gets more creative.

When I spoke with Luke today, he told me he’d played a speedgolf practice round at Moor Park and shot +4 from the tips in just over an hour. As usual, Luke held his clubs in the Silo club carrier, which led to an awkward conversation with a ranger. The ranger was visibly irritated as he informed Luke that golf bags are required at Moor Park. “This IS my golf bag!”, insisted Luke. Back at the pro shop, they asked to see this so-called “golf bag”. Upon seeing the Silo, I’m told they shrugged.

“What’s your goal?” I asked Luke.

“To win the bloody Open Championship!”
